In the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic in 2020, various arts organisations were having a conversation: how can we reach audiences and support artists in this weird old time? With everybody shut up in their houses, how could we step in to let art serve its purpose of informing, entertaining and heartening people when it is needed most?
Going online was the easy answer, but for most artists, that is an intimidating world of new technology, and to do it right can be expensive. And then you have to get yourself an audience from somewhere, and audiences are as hard to grow online as they are in real life.
Introducing

Cumbrian Arts Online brings the power of streaming to your local arts scene.
We get together with artists and record unique, exclusive sessions, whether that be a performance, a masterclass, or something more left field, and put them online for audiences to purchase for a very reasonable fee.
Audiences get a high quality bit of entertainment or education that they can stream online, or download and keep for life.
Artists get another stream of income to help them live, prosper, and create more art.
As a result, when you get involved with Cumbrian Arts Online, you are directly supporting artists in our county, and their role in the wider arts scene.
